Liberia’s central bank expands monetary policy committee


The Central Bank of Liberia is expanding its monetary policy committee to include academics and private sector representatives.

In a statement on June 29, the central bank said it hoped to appoint two individuals to the MPC by the end of July 2021, bringing the total number of committee members to seven.
