Central banks in the Americas tend to hire more personnel in their monetary policy department than their associates in other geographical regions.

The data shows that an average of 64 employees work in the monetary policy department of central banks in the Americas. This is in contrast to peers in Asia-Pacific where 38 employees are engaged on average. The figure is 37 in Europe and 19 in Africa.
